Foaming fabric with compact tubular motor and a new fire protection class: Fibreflam® LT900 fire curtain

Effertz fire curtains have been installed thousands of times in Germany and Europe due to their low weight and small footprint. With the Fibreflam® LT900, we are pushing our fire curtains into new fire protection classes beyond 90 minutes. We achieve this with a multi-layer fabric made of intumescent insulating material. The product has a movable closure and therefore comes without the usual Effertz safety contact bar. Of course, this curtain still has the advantages of all Effertz curtains, such as compliance with all safety regulations for doors in accordance with EN 13241, type-approved hold-open systems and fire protection drive technology. Thermal insulating fire rolling shutter with fabric curtain:

  • Intumescent fabric with internal thermal insulation

  • Casing

  • Steel parts galvanized (e.g. side-guides and casing) or with a single coat of primer

  • Color coating possible as an option

  • Tubular drive 230 VAC 50 Hz for short-time operation S2 (4 min); integrated into the shaft

  • Approved fall arrester in accordance with EN 12453

  • Control unit with integrated hold-open and release device. It comes with one potential-free break contact for remote release by a CFAS or external manual release

  • In case of fire, the curtain will close without electrical power, even if the contact to the control box is disconnected (self-closing, gravity fail-safe)

  • Incl. optical smoke detectors

  • An emergency release and UP-DOWN key switch is integrated in the compact HMI

  • Dead man’s switching to open and to close.
