Unprecedented fire protection duration with a textile fabric curtain: our Fibreflam® LT1200 fire curtain resists a full fire for at least 2 hours

The fabric made of foaming, heat-insulating material can withstand a fire for at least 120 minutes – as a single-walled fabric! This also impressed the fire protection experts at the FeuerTurtz trade fair. The product family won the FeuerTrutz Award for Product of the Year in structural fire protection in 2025. Of course, our Fibreflam® LT1200 can also be equipped with additional smoke protection sealings as tight-closing (Sa) or smoke-tight (S200). The permissible sizes are then of course somewhat smaller than technically possible for the pure fire protection closure. The door has successfully tested its continuous function over 10,000 cycles (C2), which corresponds to a calculated service life of 30 years with daily operation.

with a fabric curtain comes with a tubular motor integrated in the shaft.

Classification EI120-C2 in accordance with EN 13501-2 and EN 16034. Meets the applicable safety requirements of door sets product standard EN 13241.

Thermal insulating fire rolling shutter with fabric curtain as follows:

  • Special fabric with internal thermal insulation
  • Casing made of galvanized sheet steel
  • Side-guides made of galvanized sheet steel
  • Steel parts galvanized or with a single coat of primer
  • Drive: type-tested tubular drive 230 VAC 50 Hz for short-time operation S2 (4 min)
  • Approved safety arrester in accordance with EN 12453
  • Control unit with integrated hold-open and release device and one potential free break contact for remote release by central fire alarm system or external manual release
  • In case of fire the curtain will close without electrical power, even if the contact to the control box is disconnected (self-closing by gravity fail-safe)
  • Incl. optical smoke detectors
  • Emergency release and UP-DOWN key switch, integrated in the control box
  • Dead man’s control to open and to close
